"Each composition has been constructed from sounds encountered in the environment: beach stones, plastic wrap, electromagnetic disturbances, broken pianos, ice machines, radio voices, etc. These materials are employed for their sonic textures; electronic transformations reveal hidden properties and interactions. Such traces define my place, first as a listener in an integral network of patterns and flows, then as a composer wishing to articulate such relationships for listeners like you."
